About
Editorial standards
Live Well News exists to report what the evidence actually says about human health, physiology and ageing - carefully, and without hype. These standards describe how we work.
Sourcing and citations
Every non-obvious, numeric or attributed claim is cited to a primary source - a peer-reviewed study, a government or institutional publication, or an official statement - with a link and a retrieval date. We prefer primary research and systematic reviews over secondary coverage, and we say plainly when evidence is preliminary, mixed, or from animal or lab studies rather than people.
Health content and review
Health topics carry a clear disclaimer that our reporting is not medical advice. We report on research; we do not diagnose, prescribe, or recommend treatment.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft and structure articles, working from the underlying sources. Every article is edited and fact-checked by a person before publication, and a named author or our editorial team is accountable for it. AI does not publish unreviewed content, and it never invents sources or citations.
Independence
Advertising and newsletter revenue keep the site free; they do not influence what we cover or what we conclude. Advertising is clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial content.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it transparently - see our Corrections policy. To flag an error, email editorial@livewellnews.com.
